Using the tools

You can use every tool for free, for personal or work purposes, without an account. Please use them only for files you have the right to work with, and do not use the site to break the law or to attack or overload it.

What we do not promise

We work hard to make every tool accurate, but software can have mistakes. The tools are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for loss or damage that comes from using them, as far as the law allows.

• Keep your originals. Always keep a copy of the file you started with.
• Check the result before you send, print or submit it anywhere important.

Work saved in your browser

Some tools save your work — such as reports, calculator entries or settings — in your browser on this device, so you can come back to it. We never receive a copy, which also means we cannot recover it. It can be lost if you clear your browser data, use private browsing, switch device or browser, or if the browser frees up space. For anything that matters, download or export it and keep that file safe.

Calculators are not advice

Finance, loan, tax and measurement calculators give estimates based on the numbers you enter and the rules they are built on. They are not financial, tax, legal or professional advice. Real figures from banks, governments or contractors can differ, so confirm anything important with them or a qualified person.

Requirements that change

Presets such as exam photo sizes, document limits or interest rates are based on official sources at the time we add them, but organisations change their rules. Always check the current official notice before you submit. If you spot an outdated preset, tell us and we will fix it.

Availability

We may change, improve or remove tools, and the site may sometimes be unavailable. Files you have already made are yours and keep working — for example, QR codes made here contain their content directly and do not depend on this site to scan.

Advertising

ToolRead does not show ads at the moment. In the future the site may show ads to stay free; when that happens, the privacy policy will be updated first.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept it. Questions are welcome on the contact page.
