Common questions
Are the forms uploaded anywhere?
No. Every PDF is read inside your browser. Names, phone numbers and ID details never leave your device.
Does it work with forms not made on ToolRead?
Yes. Any fillable PDF works, including government, bank and HR forms. Each fill-in box becomes a column. Answer checks only run for forms made with our PDF Form Builder, because only those carry the rules.
Why does it say a file has no fill-in boxes?
The person printed the form or used "Save as PDF", which turns the answers into plain ink. Ask them to fill it again and use their PDF app's Save or Download button.
What happens when someone sends the form twice?
Replies with the same key answers, like name and employee ID, are marked "Same person twice". One click keeps only the latest copy in your downloads.
How many files can I add?
Hundreds. Small form PDFs are read in a few seconds, and you can keep adding more files to the same sheet.
