How it works

  1. 1Choose what you generate — video, images, text or audio.
  2. 2Enter what a plan costs and how many credits it includes.
  3. 3Enter what one generation burns on the model you would actually use.
  4. 4Add a row per service and read the real cost side by side.

Common questions

Why is comparing AI plans so confusing?

Because a credit means something different at every provider. One service charges 45 credits for five seconds of video, another charges 3,160 for four seconds, and the plans include wildly different credit counts. The only fair comparison is what a finished minute costs, which is the number this works out.

Where exactly do I find these numbers?

On the provider's pricing page. The plan price and credit count sit at the top; the per-generation cost is usually in a comparison table further down, written as something like "45 credits / 5s". Open the guide above and it walks through it step by step.

Why not just list current prices for me?

Because they change constantly, and a stale number would quietly send you to the wrong plan. Entering today's figures takes a minute and the answer is always right, which matters more than convenience when you are about to commit to a year.

Can I compare several models on the same plan?

Yes, and you should. Add every model you might run under one service — the same subscription can be excellent value on one model and terrible on another. Each model gets its own cost per minute, and the best one on that plan is marked.

What if one service does not have the model I want?

The coverage section at the bottom lists every model you entered and shows which services carry it, which do not, and who charges least for it. A service can win overall and still be useless to you if it is missing the one model you need.

How do I add the same models to another service quickly?

Use the "copy model list to" buttons under any service. It carries the model names across so you only have to fill in that provider's credit costs.

What does "credits included" mean if my plan is annual?

Enter the annual price and switch the billing selector to per year — the tool divides it into a monthly figure so an annual plan is compared fairly against a monthly one. Enter the credits you get in a month, not the yearly total.

I have no idea what AI credits are.

They are a prepaid token most AI services use instead of charging per use. You buy a bundle each month, and every image or video you generate spends some of it. The trap is that the bundles and the rates are set independently, so a plan with more credits is not necessarily better value.

Can I send this to someone who has to approve the spend?

Download the PDF. It has the full comparison table, a breakdown of each plan and the caveats worth knowing, laid out so a manager or client can follow it without having used the tool.
