- 1Add the AI services you use — plan price, credits a month, and what each model charges.
- 2Add a shot for every clip, with its length, type and model.
- 3Press + each time you generate, so the planner tracks what you really spend.
- 4Watch the expected cost and switch non-hero shots to a cheaper model where it will do.
Common questions
Why are totals in money and not credits?
A credit is worth a different amount on every service — one Kling credit is not one Runway credit. Money is the only way to add them up fairly. Credits are still shown for each service, against what your plan includes.
Why does a 4-second shot cost the same as a 5-second one?
Many services charge in blocks. If a model is 45 credits per 5 seconds, a 4-second clip is still 45. The planner rounds up so it never shows less than you will pay. If a service bills every second, enter its credits per 1 second.
What are hero, normal and B-roll shots?
A way to plan retries. Hero shots are the moments that matter, so they get three attempts in the budget. Normal shots get two, B-roll one. Change any of them — they are starting points, not rules.
Can I use the models I compared in the AI Credits Calculator?
Yes. Save a video comparison there, then choose it from "Import from AI Credits" here. Plans and models come across as they are.
Does it connect to Kling, Runway or other services?
No. You generate on their sites and log each attempt here with the + button. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Where is my plan saved?
In this browser, with your 20 most recent projects — there is no account. Clearing your browsing data removes them, so download the project file as a backup. It opens here again on any device.
Is the expected cost exact?
It is an estimate. Retries are hard to predict and services change their rates. Treat it as a budget to check against, and confirm the live cost on the service before you generate.
