How it works
- 1Connect your controller by cable or Bluetooth, then press any button on it.
- 2Press every button and push both triggers all the way.
- 3Put the controller down and press "Check drift" — keep your hands off for 5 seconds.
- 4Rotate each stick slowly around the edge for the circle check, and try vibration.
Common questions
Why doesn't my controller show up?
Browsers only show a controller after you press a button on it. If it still doesn't appear, re-plug or re-pair it, and close Steam, DS4Windows or games that may take it over.
How much stick drift is normal?
Under 5% at rest is normal — games ignore it. 5–10% is borderline, and over 10% usually shows up as your character or camera moving on its own.
Can I fix stick drift?
Try rotating the stick a few times, blowing air around its base and recalibrating the controller. If the number stays high, the stick module is worn and needs repair or replacement.
Why can't I test vibration?
Only Chrome and Edge let websites use controller vibration. In other browsers every other test still works.
