- 2Pick your camera and a resolution — 720p suits most calls.
- 3Check the lighting, frame rate and resolution results under the picture.
- 4Take a test photo if you want to keep one, then turn the camera off.
Common questions
Is my video uploaded or recorded?
No. The picture goes from your camera to this browser tab only. Nothing is recorded, and a test photo is saved only if you press Download.
Why is my frame rate lower than my camera's spec?
Most webcams slow down in dim light to collect more light. Face a window or lamp, or try 720p, and the frame rate usually goes up.
It says the camera is in use by another app.
Close Zoom, Teams, Meet, OBS or any other tab using the camera, then press the button again. On many computers only one app can use it at a time.
Why does my picture look mirrored?
Front cameras are shown mirrored so moving feels natural, like a mirror. Others see you the right way round. You can switch mirroring off with the button on the preview.
